The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

On this day, we honor Mary, conceived without original sin, chosen from the very beginning to be the spotless sinless vessel who would carry Jesus Christ into the world.

Her Immaculate Conception is not about when Jesus was conceived. It is about Mary’s own conception, preserved by God’s grace so she could one day say “yes” to His will.

We honor:

  • Her purity

  • Her perfect trust

  • Her obedience that changed the course of salvation in history

  • The gift of Divine Grace offered through her Life

A feast of pure grace, beauty, and God’s perfect plan.
